STOCK LLC ("the Company") declares as a matter of basic policy that it will confront anti-social forces — organisations and individuals that threaten the order and safety of civil society — as an organisation, and will sever all relations with them.
As a business that buys, sells, imports and exports vehicles, construction machinery and related equipment, the Company acts as set out below to keep anti-social forces out of its transactions.
Article 1 (Response as an organisation)
The Company responds to unreasonable demands from anti-social forces as a whole organisation, led by its representative, and never leaves the matter to the individual member of staff or department approached.
The Company protects the safety of the officers and employees who handle such matters, and does not accede to unreasonable demands.
Article 2 (Working with external specialists)
Where the Company receives an unreasonable demand from anti-social forces, or otherwise considers it necessary, it consults or reports promptly to the police, the Centre for the Elimination of Boryokudan, legal counsel or another external specialist body.
Article 3 (Severing all relations, including transactions)
The Company holds no relationship of any kind, including any business relationship, with anti-social forces.
Before buying, selling, importing or exporting, the Company confirms that the counterparty is not an anti-social force. Where this comes to light after a transaction has begun, the Company terminates the contract and ends the relationship without delay.
The Company does not knowingly assist the activities of, or provide any benefit to, a transaction involving anti-social forces.
Article 4 (Civil and criminal legal action)
The Company takes legal action, both civil and criminal, against unreasonable demands from anti-social forces.
This policy applies even where the demand arises from misconduct by an officer or employee, or from the Company's own business activities.
Article 5 (No covert settlements, no funding)
The Company firmly refuses unreasonable demands from anti-social forces and enters into no covert settlement to conceal an incident.
The Company provides no funds to anti-social forces, under any pretext whatsoever.
